Chez Monique’s | at home on the edge

In Partnership with: Pink Buffalo Films & Telus Storyhive

Director: Chris Lorenz

Producer: Joaquin Cardoner

A family used to doing whatever it takes to survive is pushed to the brink by the harsh environment they call home.

For years, Chez Monique’s has fed hikers on BC’s West Coast Trail and served as a home to its owners, the Knightons. Shaken by untimely death and harsh surroundings, this famously isolated business fights to remain.

TELUS STORYHIVE supports compelling, original stories told by filmmakers from BC and Alberta by providing production funding, training and exposure to new audiences.
